Film star Charlton Heston passed away last night at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 84.
Personally, I was very relieved to verify that his final big screen appearance was NOT his uncredited
full-ape-makeup cameo in Tim Burton's 2001 'Planet of the Apes' remake.
This 1960 photo was yanked from an enchanting Italian coffee-table book, 'Airports & Stars', published by Damiani (and quite possibly in a 'remaindered' pile near you).
